Youth Ministries
St. Stephen's welcomes all youth in grades six through 12 to participate in youth activities, Sunday School and mission events.
Sunday Night Activities: 5-7 p.m.
- Junior High (6th-8th grade) 5 p.m.
- Snack Supper (all youth) 6 p.m.
- Senior High (9th-12th grade) 7 p.m.
Each Sunday youth meet for fun, games, food, and discussion. This is a time when the youth can come and hang out with each other in a safe environment.
Youth Sunday School 9:40-10:40 a.m.
During Sunday School, all the youth gather together and spend time reflecting on their daily lives and their faith experiences. It is a time for fellowship and an opportunity to be in prayer with one another and to share our joys and concerns.
Exciting Events:
Each summer, the youth travel on an out-of-state mission trip, and the destination varies each year. In the past, the youth have participated in inner-city mission work, volunteering at food banks, non – profit service organizations, hands-on repairs and construction work, and working with children and families. This is a great opportunity for the youth to do something that impacts the world outside of their community.
Easter Breakfast:
Each Easter Sunday, the youth host a breakfast to help raise money for the upcoming summer mission trip.
UNICEF Carnival:
Each year, around Halloween, the youth host a carnival for the children of St. Stephens. Prior to the carnival, the children collect money, which serves as their ticket into the carnival. All the money raised goes to UNICEF.
